Review CRS 2004 and photo gallery

Short review by Anne

25000 guests enjoyed Chiemsee Reggae Summer 2004. Thank you to the organizers!
An extra "thank you" to the people who develloped (and will maintain) the transport concept. Due to this concept, it was possible for ticket holders to head to the festival by public transport from almost every part of southern Germany without being charged. 13000 festival guests took this offer and travelled by public transport. Consequently there was no need of using all of the fields, which have been planned for being used as parking areas. Actually 2 of them could stay closed.
Another effect of the transport concept: no costs for transport and parking give the youths a chance to participate a big festival like this. Strolling along the camping areas and inside the festival itself, it was nice to see a lot of youths having fun.
Another "thank you to the organizers" for the excellent selection of artists! Partytime in the tent , one big name after the other on the main stage.
Just a few impressions:
Main stage: good vibrations with Misty In Roots .. 10 minutes for Ini Kamoze are definetely not enough .. Alpha Blondy handicapped by an injured leg but still strong and powerful on the stage .. Beres Hammond mesmerizing .. Cocoa Tea sweet and soft .. Buju Banton full of energy like always ..
Tent: Horace X makes the crowd flying .. Zoe, Tippa Irie, Les Babacools, Jahcoustix... just to name a few. There was always big party in the tent!
